Dr Imma Miralpeix is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Studies at the University of Barcelona. She is a member of the GRAL research group and has participated in several funded projects on second language learning and teaching. She has also conducted research at Swansea University (UK) with the Vocabulary Acquisition Research Group and is a member of Lognostics. She teaches Applied Linguistics courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has coordinated the Master’s Program in Applied Linguistics and Language Acquisition in Multilingual Contexts. She supervises doctoral research and serves as a faculty tutor for students participating in the University of Barcelona's Internship Program in various institutions and enterprises.
